24-Hour Cancellation Policy
Students or
their guardians are responsible to give 24 hours notice for each
scheduled lesson that they will miss.
Notification may be done in person, by phone or via email to
musiciansdepot@sdk3.com. While
we understand that there are unavoidable circumstances for late
cancellations, it is critical to an appointment-based business like
ours to have a structured cancellation policy in order to make
efficient use of our instructors’ time. We appreciate your
understanding and respect for our instructors’ time.
Students
are scheduled for the same time & day each week starting with the 1st
scheduled lesson unless the front counter is otherwise notified,
regardless of lesson payment status.
Please note that students who
do not show up for their lesson 2 weeks in a row & fail to respond to
any contact from the instructor and/or the store may be removed from
the schedule & charged for the missed lessons. Students who do not
show after their 1st lesson for a 2nd lesson
without notice or prepayment of lessons may be removed from the
schedule.
Under 24-hour
cancellations will be charged.
Students are responsible for payment of any missed or unpaid
lessons until they are actually removed from the schedule.
Students who are 2 lessons behind may not be allowed to continue
lessons until the balance has been paid. Parents/guardians may
wish to keep a card on file for lesson payment. When our instructors
need to cancel a lesson, the student will not be charged for the
missed lesson.
When a
student will be discontinuing lessons, the student and/or their
guardian(s) will need to notify the store at the
Front Counter
or via email, to avoid being charged for future lessons. Any balance
due must be paid at the time of discontinuation of lessons. Please
be aware that lessons expire 1 year from payment. Any refund prior
to expiration of lessons is subject to an administrative fee of $25.
Musician’s
Depot is CLOSED for the following 5 holidays ONLY:
New Year’s
Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving Day & Christmas
Day.
Lessons that fall on
these dates may be rescheduled to alternate days if desired by the
student & if approved by the instructor.
